My daughter's class learns about different character traits by drawing pictures and writing about each one. You can imagine how happy I was when she came home with her "Grateful" page that had a picture of her holding the hand of a taller woman. Naturally, I thought it was me. Turns out, it was her teacher. I am grateful for her teacher as well. Ms. Hondropoulos is great. And I still loved the picture so much, that I decided to make it into one of Ms. H's end-of-the-year gifts.
Your work is amazing, what a precious way to capture kids artwork. My mom is a kindergarden teacher so I found this story to be super sweet.
